Hi, I'm Frank Tan
I’m Kexiang Tan, a communication designer and design researcher currently based at RMIT University. My work spans graphic systems, interaction design, service design, and research-led prototyping. I focus on how design can bridge developers and users in collaborative systems—particularly within game production and cultural storytelling.
My practice combines visual clarity with structural thinking.
Beyond design, I’m passionate about handcrafting, illustration, and traditional drawing, which deeply inform my creative process and research sensibility.
I see design not just as a tool for aesthetics, but as a medium for dialogue—making complexity visible and enabling more inclusive, transparent, and meaningful ways of creating.
